With immediate effect, access to nightclubs, clubs and dance halls is only possible with a negative PCR test or a corona vaccination. This new regulation will apply throughout Austria from Thursday. Nothing will happen with the end of the registration obligation originally announced for Thursday. It remains. In Vienna you take a special route, here a stricter mask requirement applies . But on the day of the innovations, the Corona task force also meets and advises on how to proceed for Austria. From 10 a.m., representatives from various ministries and the provincial chairmanship of Tyrol will come together. A decision is to be made as to whether measures are to be relaxed further or measures tightened. It cannot be completely ruled out that stricter rules will apply everywhere again soon. The health department in particular is urging to sharpen the issue of returnees. The proportion of infections is increasing, especially among them. Minister Wolfgang Mückstein is pushing for rules such as mandatory PCR testing to be introduced. According to reports, the ÖVP is slowing down.
