Austria (Muhammad Amir Siddique) In the fight against the corona virus, Vienna relies on vaccinations without registration and without an appointment. Two major campaigns are starting today: Eight vaccination boxes spread across the city will be opened, and in the Austria Center people will be vaccinated spontaneously for a week with a free choice of vaccine. At the Austria Center you can not only come to the vaccination until Sunday without registering. You can also choose between all available vaccines – AstraZeneca, Biontech / Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna. The principle applies: just come there. All you need is ID and, if available, an e-card. On the homepage of the Austria Center you can also call up the current occupancy – this is to avoid long waiting times – more on this in Vienna campaign starts with all vaccines. With the vaccines from Biontech / Pfizer and Moderna, people from the age of twelve can be vaccinated. AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson are also available to people over the age of 18. The interval between the second vaccination and the second vaccination can be agreed flexibly as you wish. With the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, only one prick is required for full immunization. The vaccinations take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Vaccination even without an appointment in vaccination boxes
If you don’t want to go to the Austria Center, you can instead go to one of the eight new vaccination boxes without making an appointment or registering. They are spread all over the city. For example, there is one next to the Ferris wheel in the Prater. Other locations are in new buildings, in Favoriten, in Hietzing and Liesing. The single vaccine from Johnson & Johnson is inoculated in all vaccination boxes. Young people get Biontech / Pfizer – more on this in ight new locations for vaccination without an appointment .
