HE. WADA Mitsuhiro, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan paid a courtesy call on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) at GHQ on Thursday 16 December.
During the meeting, Ambassador Wada acknowledged the important role that Pakistan played in the Afghanistan peace process, exchanged views on regional security situations, matters of mutual interest, and discussed future Japan-Pakistan cooperation.
After the meeting, Ambassador and Mrs. WADA visited Army Museum, Rawalpindi and learned about the history of Pakistan Armed Forces. Japanese delegation enjoyed the well-organized exhibition and guided tour conducted by Colonel Asad Basir, Director, Army Museum, Rawalpindi. During the visit, Ambassador Wada expressed his heartfelt condolences to the victims of Army Public School (APS) attack on its seventh anniversary.
