Austria (Muhammad Amir Siddique)On Monday morning, the police were called to an incapable of maneuvering boat on Lake Wörthersee. The skipper was drunk and had torn two buoys from their anchorage with the ship’s propeller. The crew of the police motorboat was ordered to go to the boat in distress at Pörtschach. On site, the officials saw that the skipper, a 47-year-old man from Tyrol, had torn two buoys from their anchorage with the propeller. One of the buoys had got caught around the propeller in such a way that the skipper could no longer loosen it himself. The fire brigade loosened the propeller. The FF Krumpendorf’s boat, manned by four firefighters and a diver, was able to loosen the buoy from the screw and make the boat fit to sail again. The 47-year-old boat driver was found to be alcoholized. The skipper’s license was taken from him and he is reported to the district authority of Klagenfurt.
