Japan ( News ) Japan just told the world it’s done playing nice with illegal immigrants. And the numbers are making Western countries very uncomfortable.
Last year, Japan forcibly deported a record 318 people who refused to leave the country voluntarily.
That’s nearly triple the number from just two years ago — and immigration officials say they’re only getting started.
The goal? Zero illegal immigrants. They’re not pretending otherwise.
By 2027, the agency wants to push forced deportations to 500 per year.
Turks topped the list at 71, followed by Filipinos at 46.
One man had ignored FOUR deportation orders, claiming he wanted to stay with his Japanese wife.
He got handcuffed, escorted onto a plane at Haneda, and sent home anyway.
An agency official put it bluntly: “It’s only natural to take firm action against foreign nationals who don’t follow the rules.”
Imagine a Western country saying that out loud in 2026.
