With six months to go to the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023TM, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) invites fans to vote for their all-time AFC Asian CupTM Dream XI in its latest campaign. Fans can visit the-AFC.com/dreamXI or the AFC’s official mobile application, AFC LIVE, to cast their votes.
The fan whose squad matches the final selected Dream XI will get the chance to win a trip with a companion to the opening match of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023TM between defending champions Qatar and Lebanon.
After 17 editions and nearly 67 years, some of the biggest icons in Continental and global football have graced Asia’s crown jewel, each leaving an indelible mark and contributing to the transformation of the AFC Asian CupTM into one of the most anticipated sporting events in the world.
Amongst the most prominent megastars, both past and present, poised to represent the voting list for fans to cast their votes include Korea Republic and Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min and two-time AFC Asian CupTM winner and Saudi Arabia’s all-time leading goal scorer Majed Abdullah.
Now, with the countdown to the greatest ever showpiece in history taking centre stage in Qatar from 12 January to 10 February 2024, passionate fans of Asian football can select their favorite players in each position to put together a combined all-time dream AFC Asian CupTM starting squad.
Voting closes on 30 July. The final squad will be selected based on fan votes as well as input from a panel of football experts. Terms and conditions apply.
The final #AsianCupDreamXI squad will be announced on 12 August, five months ahead of the competition.
