Austria (Report: Muhammad Amir Siddique)Sexual harassment: Professor suspended. Because he is said to have sexually molested a student, the University of Salzburg has temporarily suspended a professor from the law faculty. The allegations are not criminally relevant, but there is no place at the university for harassment, emphasizes Rector Hendrik Lehnert. The professor is said to have sent the young woman lewd messages, as well as talking to her and telephoning her. The case is now being strictly investigated internally, says Rector Lehnert. The student council calls on all female students to get in touch if they have had similar experiences.
