Tokyo prosecutors have questioned the former secretary-general of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, Toshihiro Nikai, and former reconstruction minister Katsuei Hirasawa on a voluntary basis over a widening political funds scandal, sources close to the matter said Saturday.
