ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Qatar on Monday to offer condolences over the death of the country’s former emir, according to government sources.
During the visit, the prime minister is expected to express sympathies to the Qatari leadership and hold a meeting with Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Sources said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with other senior officials, will accompany the prime minister on the visit.
