ISLAMABAD – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased electricity prices by Rs0.75 per unit across the country.
According to a notification, the increase has been made under the monthly fuel adjustment for June. The adjustment will also apply to K-Electric consumers and will be reflected in electricity bills issued in August.
The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) had requested an increase of Rs1.20 per unit under the June adjustment.
Earlier, electricity prices were increased by Rs0.34 per unit nationwide under the monthly adjustment for May.
