New York: Social media platform Facebook experienced a widespread global service outage on Friday.
According to Downdetector, around 69,569 complaints were recorded at 6:39 pm on June 12. Users reported that they were unexpectedly logged out of their Facebook accounts.
No official statement has yet been issued by the company regarding the disruption.
The outage caused inconvenience to users across multiple regions, temporarily affecting access to the platform.
