For CD 70 owners tired of repairs and rising maintenance costs, a new upgrade opportunity arrived. Atlas Honda launched a nationwide exchange offer allowing riders to trade their old motorcycle toward a new Honda CD 70 and pay only the remaining difference.
The bike company rolled out CD 70 exchange programme, giving owners of ageing motorcycles a chance to move to a new Honda without paying the full price upfront.
The offer is aimed at riders struggling with frequent workshop visits, declining fuel economy and the growing maintenance costs associated with older bikes.
Under exchange facility, customers can take their used CD 70 to a participating authorised 3S Atlas Honda dealership for inspection. The dealership’s technical team will assess the motorcycle’s engine, frame and overall condition before determining its trade-in value.
Once the valuation is finalised, the amount offered for the old motorcycle will be deducted from the price of the new Honda. The customer will then have to pay only the remaining difference.
However, owners should not expect a uniform trade-in amount for every used CD 70. Atlas Honda has not announced a standard exchange rate. The value assigned to each motorcycle will depend on factors including its model year, mechanical condition, physical state and overall condition.
This means two CD 70 motorcycles of different ages or conditions could receive significantly different valuations.
New CD 70
Honda CD 70 currently carries price tag of Rs159,900, remaining one of Pakistan’s most widely used motorcycles among daily commuters.
For owners of older CD 70s, the exchange programme offers a potentially easier route to a new motorcycle by converting the value of their existing bike into an upfront credit.
The nationwide initiative is available through participating Atlas Honda dealerships, where customers can have their motorcycles evaluated and find out how much they would need to pay for the upgrade.
